General Ticket Information
The Hillside Festival is a not for profit community organization. The majority of our revenue is self-generated and ticket sales are large component of that.
Evening Tickets
The
Hillside organization has decided to eliminate evening tickets for Saturday and
Sunday. There has been limited interest
by patrons in purchasing evening tickets for Saturday and Sunday particularly
over the past few years. This will increase
the number of full day tickets available, still keeping within our island
patron capacity.
Early Bird
priced day and evening tickets
Early
Bird day and evening passes have only been available the last couple of years,
prior to that they were not an option.
There were minimal Early Bird priced tickets available and the Early
Bird and Regular pricing often confused patrons. The Hillside organization has decided to
eliminate the Early Bird priced day and evening tickets to offer consistency and
clarity to patrons.
Increase in
ticket prices
There
has been an incremental increase in ticket prices for 2009. This increase reflects the increase in
operating the festival. Hillside
continues to believe that patrons are receiving excellent value for their
money. All tickets are inclusive of GST
which is 5% of the face value.
- Tickets will be available at the Hillside Office, on-line at ticketpro.ca, by phone at 1.866.598.4455 and designated outlets. Please see outlets page for more info.
- Day passes allow access from 11am-11pm. Weekend passes allow access from Friday - Sunday.
- There is a maximum of 4 weekend passes per person. There is no limit on day tickets.
- All tickets include GST and park admission.
- There will be a $4.00 service charge per transaction for all debit and credit purchases at the Hillside office.
- There will be a $4.00 service charge per ticket plus a $1.50 mailing fee for all tickets purchased on-line or by phone.
- Children 12 and under and seniors 65 and over are admitted free and do not require a ticket.
